As we celebrate the birth and renewal of our great republic during a time of civil unrest and open attacks by paid anarchists and Marxists seated in the highest levels of our own government, media and academia, we would be wise to remember that we have faced similar odds before and have prevailed with the assistance of almighty God and the effort of a small minority of dedicated patriots intent on living in freedom and providing that heritage for their posterity. At a time that defeat at the hands of the great British Army appeared imminent, and the Colonists appeared to be wavering in their support of the war for independence, English-born writer and patriot pamphleteer Thomas Paine wrote the following:
“THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated”

We are a great nation because of our shared values, not our differences. We cannot allow the forces of evil and Marxist ideologues to destroy the American experiment in liberty with their plan to divide and conquer America from within through racism, sexism, statism and separatism.
We must look to God and pray for his intervention, for we cannot defeat the forces aligned against us without his divine help and guidance. Understand that this battle will not end well for those riding the fence and looking for the easy way out. In a battle between good and evil, there is no compromise.
America is the last, best hope for a free and prosperous world of civilized societies and men/women of good faith. We have been the beacon of freedom to the rest of the world for over 230 years. The time is now to stand and be counted as true American patriots……….not the sunshine patriots that only try to climb on board after the bandwagon has left the station. Without your dedication to the cause of liberty there will be no tomorrow. Get on board now!!
