Our Founding Fathers championed the power of individuals and gave us the tools to establish and maintain limited self government.

Although citizen control of the Federal government was being usurped as soon as the Constitution was ratified, the ideas contained therein have endured for 235 years despite gross overreach by our “elected leaders” and a lack of citizen stewards demanding compliance.

To this day, the wisdom contained therein and the idea of limited self government has as much power as it ever did if we trust, understand, and enforce the power of the people over government.

Although the monied interests and a very powerful few have lusted from the very beginning to overturn and/or rewrite the U.S. Constitution, they feared the people enough to stop them from trying; at least until very recently.

Endless calls for a Constitutional Convention from liberal Democrats as well as conservative Republicans should alarm all critical thinkers into understanding the ultimate purpose of a Con-Con…………..a total re-write of the document that holds our nation together like glue.

The reason that we have lost so many of the rights guaranteed under our Constitution is not from a faulty document, it is from the failure of generations of elected officials to honor their oath of office, and an increasingly demanding, ignorant and disconnected electorate that fails to hold elected representatives personally responsible for countless bad decisions and for reprehensible oversight of the public trust.

Americans have amazing power as individual citizens and working together with local governments we have the power to return control back to “We the People”. It is our responsibility to end constitutional ignorance with knowledge and empowerment through education.

Our U.S. Constitution is unique in recognizing “unalienable rights” that come from God and the Ten Commandments as the foundation for rule of law. It recognizes the law of nature and nature's God as the cornerstone of individual rights to life liberty and property, and that government should only exist to protect those rights. It limits the scope of national (federal) government to a narrowly defined and limited role, with local government holding primacy as protectors of individual rights through locally organized militias and the empaneling of grand juries to try those responsible when constitutional rights are violated.

State governments exist to provide order and the basic administrative structure needed to ensure that rule of law, prosperity, trade and commerce be empowered between individuals, communities and the various states within the nation. That's what our U.S. Constitution lawfully allows; however, what we actually have is quite different.

How did that happen?  I liken it to someone planting a garden in the spring, totally ignoring it throughout the summer, and expecting a bountiful harvest in the fall.

Our nation is like a garden that was carefully planted but left un-watered and un-tended by “We the People”, yet somehow, we expect a bountiful harvest………and are surprised when it produces nothing but weeds.

The lack of produce from our national garden is predictable and of our own making. How could it be otherwise when we fail to hold up our end of the bargain and tend to our daily chores as stewards of liberty.

Today we are living in the age of WOKEness, corruption, and political cowardice that pales anything in our national history. Stolen elections, forced vaccine compliance, political support of openly communist groups destroying our civil society, unconstitutional federal mandates, unlimited illegal immigration, political weaponization of federal law enforcement agencies, mandated CRT training in our schools……………and the list goes on.

Yet somehow we are to believe that if we just sit back and keep our mouths shut, our political leaders today are smarter and better prepared to preserve our liberties than the Founding Fathers? I think not!!

Political leaders of both parties kow-tow to openly Marxist groups and programs out of fear that they might offend someone or become targets of black clad ANTIFA thugs, CCP controlled “mainstream” media, or Frankfurt School trained Cultural Marxist academics.

Meanwhile, average hard working patriotic Americans are increasingly labeled as domestic terrorists, extremists, white supremacists, fascists, homophobes, racists, and other pejoratives for speaking out against injustice.

According to recent national polls, 67% of Americans no longer trust the election process, yet we are called election deniers if we demand audits and election reform.

Isn't it time to recognize our responsibility to exercise our right and duty to uphold, protect and defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic? Isn't it time to bring government back to the people and end the autocratic rule that is hurtling us into world government?

The Founding Fathers gave us the tools for limited self government. It's time to take them out, dust them off, and invest the time, sweat and blood needed to restore limited self government for the future of America. If we fail to act, all we have to lose is life, liberty and happiness for our children, grandchildren and the rest of humanity.
