Most Americans have no real notion of what it is like to live under a totalitarian form of government, let alone what it feels like to have their naivete' hit a brick wall at 200 miles an hour.

Americans have had it far too good for far too long; having been lulled to sleep by consumerism and the highest standard of living on the planet.

Those things could not have happened under a totalitarian system, but few people truly understand what a unique system of government we had the good fortune to be born into. You would think that more of us would appreciate all of our individual freedoms including the right to own property, but that blessing seems to be lost on Americans that take for granted rights few other nations enjoy.

Those who came here from elsewhere around the world are astonished by the cavalier way most Americans expect good fortune, and are even more astonished by our callous attitude about surrendering those freedoms.

As the song goes, “you don't know what you've got till it's gone” and we are perilously close to finding out the hard way how much we stand to lose.

On previous podcasts we've had guests from around the world who have lived under totalitarian systems, growing up under communism or following a transition from socialism to communism.

Most recently, those living under European progressive socialism are seeing the loss of freedoms when a regional unelected government is given expansive control over it's citizens.

Just ask the Dutch, German and French farmers losing their land because of Agenda 2030 sustainable farming initiatives being handed down by European Union technocrats to sovereign national governments.

The only thing stopping a complete takeover by EU bureaucrats are the tractor protests by thousands of farmers acting in unison, and boycotts by agricultural food producers.

And, although it seems to be slowing the widespread governmental attacks on agriculture, like all forms of un-elected administrative state, the attacks will resume after a brief cooling off period rachets down farmer emotions and institutional memory dulls public support.

Using some of the most advanced farming practices in the world, the tiny country of Holland has become the #2 food exporter in the world behind the United States, yet the Dutch Prime Minister (Mark Rutte) openly embraced UN Agenda 2030 sustainable development programs that threaten to destroy the agricultural economy and impact Holland's GDP in major ways.

Only the threatened loss of political office through impeachment seemed to slow down Rutte's leftist embrace of the radical green agenda. The same can be said for elected leaders in the rest of Europe.

Canada under the plutocratic rein of the WEF's golden boy (Little Fidel Trudeau) has experienced similarly expansion of UN Sustainability Programs vis-a-vis governmental mandates counter to Canada's best interests.

Expansive plandemic lockdowns and government clot shot mandates all but shut down US/Canadian cross border traffic; forcing vaccine hesitant truckers from across Canada to descend on Ottowa in the largest truck convoy ever.

The Canadian people, (with the exception of the clot shot loving Vichy French in Quebec) overwhelmingly supported the right of the truckers to strike, and turned out in large numbers in support of the protests.

With zero concern for free speech rights, Trudeau, using the unlimited power of government, froze the bank accounts of not only the truckers, but anyone who sent donations to support the trucker strike.

Using the power of the pen as a virtual dictator; Trudeau has embraced all of the Agenda 21/2030 globalist sustainability goals regardless the economic and social impact on average Canadians.

By signing into law an ever expanding list of “green” initiatives that end property rights and expand the perverse role government plays in every aspect of rural life/natural resource development, Little Fidel has accelerated Canada's lock step march into the New World Order.

So-much-so, that many of the brightest and the best are exiting stage left as quickly as they can find a place to move.

The same is true worldwide, but where can liberty lovers move in a world embracing a universal globalist/Marxist symbiosis. The United States was always the safety valve for freedom lovers seeking asylum, but unseen by most has been a “fundamental transformation” that stripped many of the freedoms and unaleinable rights that we enjoyed in times past.

America has become the least dirty shirt in a basket of very dirty shirts…..both economically and politically. States like California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois and New York are bleeding productive citizens by the millions due to onerous taxes, over-regulation, and bizarre leftist social programs.

States like Florida and Texas are gaining some of the brightest and the best, but are being infiltrated by radicals wishing to export their brand of political extremism to the conservative states as well.

We are out of places to move and ways to avoid the very screwed up world we helped to create with our unwillingness to step in and say NO when needed.

Unless we are willing to roll over and accept the destruction of our world and loved ones, we had better stand up and be counted.

The days of asking others carry our load are over.

Those we asked to carry our load decided to steal it and ran off to cohabit Washington DC with their fellow swamp creatures, leaving us empty handed and squatting in the dust.

Until we take responsibility for our actions and our families, we will get what we deserve and that won't be a very good thing.
