2025 promises to be a year of great opportunity, but conversely a year of great danger if we fail to stand in defense of liberty and individualism.
Sometimes what we think we see is totally different than the reality we actually face.
As we roll into the New Year of 2025, many of my friends and listeners express enormous relief with the re-election of Donald J. Trump as our 47th President, suggesting that most or all of our national and international problems will be solved once he is sworn back into office.
They often admit a desire to go back to the good old days and resume lifestyles that require no meaningful involvement in public affairs. To return to those “good old days” of politically disengaged citizenship in 21st Century America would be an act of national suicide!

America as a sovereign, constitutional republic has nearly ceased to exist because so many of our citizens have been nonchalantly sleepwalking through life, all the while expecting those in leadership positions to remain honest without continual citizen oversight.
Well, guess what; that hasn't worked, and never will. President Trump's first term failed to accomplish many of his stated objectives because he lacked a dedicated group of citizen activists willing to invest the time and effort to make the calls and write the letters necessary to put our Deep State Congress and Administrative State WOKE bureaucrats on notice that a significant percentage of Americans were awakened, watching their every move, and expecting them to honor their oaths of fidelity to the Constitution.
I can tell you as a former elected official that if your constituents don't show up in force to support your ideas, there is little chance to advance them. Most politicians are much more concerned about remaining in office than honoring their oath of office.
They love it when they hear nothing from their constituents because it allows them to make unconstitutional policy decisions with minimal public input. The old saying that “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” is all so true in politics.
I've been told by several Congressional Staffers that 1 handwritten (non-form) letter is representative of the opinions of 1,000 people. Can you imagine the impact of millions of individuals sending letters and making calls on a regular basis to elected/appointed officials; expressing our approval or displeasure with their actions?
The 2024 Presidential Election was a landslide in popular and electoral voting, but must be followed up with a groundswell of informed political activism if we want Trump to succeed.
Equally important is oversight and activism to make sure President Trump follows through with his campaign promises and that his cabinet picks and advisors keep the best interests of the American people first and foremost; not those of special interests and the politically well connected.
As citizen activist/educators we must show everyone why globalism is bad, the U.S. Constitution is good, and that as a nation of liberty loving individualists, why we are no longer willing to tolerate progressive socialism as an alternative form of American government.
Globalism is much more entrenched today than it was before the Obama/Obiden Administrations opened the floodgates of: WOKE public re-education. unrestricted illegal immigration, a weaponized Justice Department, Federal Intelligence & Legal System, an additional 20 trillion dollars in deficit spending to our already teetering economic system, and a feckless foreign policy light years beyond stupid.
Like the cartoon at the top of this article; we face an extinction-level event for humanity that most don't even see coming…………….or if they do, by their willingness to accept globalism as a good thing and logical next step in a “sustainable world”; not comprehending how this means absolute control of their lives from cradle to grave.
Globalism will destroy free will and individual liberty just like the giant meteor that ended the Jurassic Period and threw the planet into a 100,000 year ice age. The fact that so many of our young people look at this as a good thing shows just how effective the “fundamental transformation of America” by the left has been, and how badly “conformist” educators have taught civics and the reasons America is truly great.
To sit by and continue to allow this WOKE leftist nonsense to shape America's future would be monumentally stupid.
