Abraham Lincoln
We are seeing a fundamental transformation of America that is changing our basic institutions from a system based on the rights of individuals under rule of law, to a collectivist system that recognizes the rights of the collective as the basis for modern society, especially in the 21st Century.
Is this really something new, or have our political leaders accepted progressive socialist ideas for so long that they no longer understand basic concepts of liberty that are the cornerstones of our constitutional republic? Are our elected political leaders really there to protect our freedoms under the U.S. Constitution they swear an oath to “protect and defend”, or are they merely acting out their part in a larger vision of the integration of America into a Marxist/socialist global government?
