…This noble foundation was gradually dismantled over time and really began to crumble after the false flag sinking of the battleship USS Maine in Havana Harbor in 1898. The ensuing Spanish American War gave America control of all former Spanish territories throughout Latin America and the Philippines.
Our very first progressive socialist President Teddy Roosevelt made the most of that new sense of empire by annexing part of Columbia and turning it into the new nation of Panama, where we built and controlled the Panama Canal for the next 80 years.
Without trying to recreate the entire evolution of American empire from 1900 thru WWI, WWII, the creation of the United Nations and beyond, suffice it to say that under a series of “progressive” presidents America turned from a humble, neutral, non-interventionist nation, into a political and financial hegemony of globalist ambition and social engineering.
With limitless progressive hubris and unknowable CIA manipulation, America became the policemen for the New World Order, all the while professing to stand as the last best hope against the stated communist goal of world empire.
The RINO/neocon wing of the Republican Party willingly joined the fray to promote their own particular brand of national socialism called “crony capitalism aka corporate fascism”.
Why am I recounting all of this? Because/despite all the pseudo-progressive machinations to create a globalist hegemony of socialist-lite, economically/technologically advanced, militarily benign states; we are currently straddling a geopolitical chasm of epic proportions, much of our own making.
Through tragic political mis-steps, special interest lolly pops, central banker rip offs, and military/ industrial complex mis-adventures, Americans have experienced a consistent and rapid decline in our standard of living and individual liberties.
For the first time ever, American children and grandchildren face a future where they will be poorer and live less well than their parents and grandparents. Not only that, but they will live under a government more intrusive and controlling of everything from basic lifestyles to quality of education.
Donald J. Trump was elected president in 2016 as a populist/anti-establishment Republican for that very reason. Trump was an outsider; not part of the Demican/Republicrat uniparty clique that had driven our nation aground with endless spending and hubristic world building.
He campaigned on a widely accepted America First theme that resounded with a majority of Americans that were nearly wiped out by the endless wars and spending that resulted in the 2008 financial meltdown and the subsequent Obama “fundamental transformation” that created DEI and urinated on traditional American values.
Trump's first term was shackled by the Russiagate fiasco, deep state lawfare against him and his leading nominees by attacking and slow walking his top administrative and judicial appointments. He eventually endured 2 separate impeachment efforts, personal attacks by key leaders of the Republican and Democrat uniparty establishment, well orchestrated BLM/Antifa riots, a Covid-19 plandemic, and a blatantly stolen Presidential Election in 2020.
Under Joe Obiden the attacks continued and intensified through DOJ lawfare, especially after Trump announced that he would run and win the 2024 Presidential Election. Moreover; even though the Democrat Party big steal was in, poll monitors and election reformers gave Trump a landslide victory that set the tone for the Trump 47 Presidency pegged to the slogan “promises made, promises kept”.
Promises were made to: audit the gold in Ft. Knox and at the New York Fed; by executive order, to create a DOGE program that proposed to cut 2-3 trillion Dollars in wasteful Federal spending in the first 2 years with permanent reductions of nearly a trillion dollars a year thereafter to reduce the deficit; to quickly end the war in Ukraine; to negotiate a permanent peace in the Middle East including protecting a permanent Palestinian homeland: to close the disastrously open U.S. borders with all it's human and drug trafficking; to clean house at the: DOJ, CIA, FBI, DOD, DEA, EPA and the other 80+ Federal Agencies under presidential control.
He started out with purpose and conviction….signing a lengthy list of executive orders to roll back many of the unconstitutional acts committed by the Obiden/Harris Administration. He ordered the borders closed and gave ICE the funding and latitude to apprehend and deport some of the worst criminal elements that entered during the Obiden open border years.
DOGE started out strong under Elon Musk, but within 90 days had ground to a halt despite ample evidence of wasteful federal spending. Not only have DOGE savings not materialized, the federal budget has increased, adding 2+ trillion dollars to the deficit in 2025. The boldly announced gold audits have left the public stage; Trump having since gone completely silent on the subject.
The war in Ukraine continues despite the President's attempts at diplomacy while Israel continues to push for the total evacuation of Gaza and the Palestinian homeland under Prime Minister Netanyahu.
President Trump's first term was marred by defections and incredibly poor advisors in key positions within his administration. It became clear that the “Swamp” was much deeper and the creatures much more poisonous than he initially anticipated.
Consequently, his entire first term accomplished little to roll back the ultra-toxic federal permanent bureaucracy. Trump 47 had 4 years out of office to plan his second term. These years were filled with threats, lawfare, personal attacks, and even attempts on his life.
This only intensified his determination to clean up and drain the swamp, but is that even possible? Can one man, no matter how focused and dedicated, stop the bleeding and cut out the cancer that is destroying America?
More importantly, how far is he willing to go to achieve his objectives? Recent military/police actions in Venezuela to blockade shipping and arrest Nicolas Maduro are being justified as necessary, but what are we doing when we talk about occupying and running a country larger than Texas with 26 million pissed off people, and why are we threatening to do the same to Columbia, Cuba, and Bolivia?
Moreover, Trump is still talking openly about annexing and/or buying Greenland from the Danes and incorporating significant parts of Canada as our 51st state.
Is he nuts……or is this just part of the Kabuki Theater that increasingly surrounds this President?
Is there a 3D chess match methodology to the madness that us mere mortals can't comprehend, or is he really so cheeky and filled with hubris that he's willing to play Russian roulette with our future?
I have supported President Trump in many things, but it is very difficult to understand, let alone justify, overt acts of Imperialism in direct contradiction to our historical constitutional mandate. There are many dots that need to be connected to learn the truth, but first we must find the dots.
