…The reason that so little of what we know about the CIA is actually true is because if we knew the truth, most of what makes them tick would be considered illegal and unethical, if not dangerously unAmerican.
The CIA was formed following WWII to supplant the U.S. Army Intelligence Service (the OSS) with the mission of providing broad intelligence on Soviet and other threats that surfaced after the defeat of the Axis powers.
Initial plans by Truman to limit the size and scope of the CIA were scrapped when Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) political insider Alan Dulles was appointed to head the “Agency” and given broad discretionary power to build the hierarchy according to an ill defined role of stopping the spread of communism.
Dulles, true to insider expectations, found limitless clandestine funding mechanisms from the first days and rapidly expanded the CIA mission statement into areas of domestic as well as foreign policy.
By way of example: Operation PaperClip brought nearly 1,500 German scientists, doctors, military officers and engineers to the United States after the war to provide expertise in everything from rockets to medical research; many having narrowly escaped the Nuremberg Trials for crimes against humanity simply by becoming OSS/CIA assets.
The mind control program known as MK Ultra became the most infamous of CIA programs; using psychotropic drugs and psychological/physical torture to create Manchurian Candidates capable of robotically carrying out dangerous missions often without the victims even knowing they were being controlled.
Thousands of young children were “groomed” by the “Agency” to commit unthinkable acts including seduction and murder, all under the pretense of national security.
As the levels of CIA corruption grew, the rogue elements within the agency also grew, until Black Ops funding through various illegal means including drugs and human trafficking are estimated to be in the trillions of dollars.
No one is safe from the reach of the CIA; including Presidents. When, after the CIA orchestrated Bay of Pigs fiasco, President Kennedy fired Alan Dulles and threatened to break the CIA into a million pieces and scatter it to the wind……..within months Kennedy was dead.
When Donald Trump in his first term as President threatened to expose the ties between the various intelligence agencies and deep state efforts to upend his presidency through CIA sponsored programs like Hammer and Scorecard, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in a rare moment of truthful candor said; “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” “So, even for a practical supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”
The question becomes: is any single person or group capable of exposing the depth and breadth of CIA corruption, let alone capable of doing anything about it?
Even then, how inbred, complicit and self serving are all the other national security agencies, and what unholy alliances do they have with: MI6, Mossad, and the International Banking and Financial Cartels funding and profiting from the whole military industrial complex money mill called International Relations?
Any examination of what makes the deep state tick would be negligent in ignoring the 80 year track record of international/national intrigues that have made the Ugly Americans even uglier in world opinion; for justifiably good reasons.
The assassination of world leaders, including our own, for failure to meet the shape shifting standards of political whim and power politics stand zero chance of meaningful reform of the CIA through traditional administrative channels. Nothing short of total dissolution, exposure and absolute accountability will begin to fix what's broken.
