A program known as Camp Constitution is attempting to bring the message of American exceptionalism and the Founder's vision of a constitutional republic based on rule of law, our common law heritage, and Judeo Christian values back into the mainstream. After many decades of American public education brainwashing our youth to believe that atheism, socialism and communism are preferable to our traditional American values, Camp Constitution is fighting back.
The Camp Constitution Mission Statement:
The mission of Camp Constitution is to enhance understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity, including the genius of our United States Constitution, and the application of free enterprise, which together gave our nation an unprecedented history of growth and prosperity, making us the envy of the world. We want to motivate, inspire and activate this generation of Patriots as well as the next generation of Patriots. We want to help find, develop, and train leaders in the freedom fight.
We will also examine and expose some of the abuses and perversions that have brought our nation and economy so far down, and offer discussion to counter the negative influences in our lives, while providing recreational activities that build our physical constitutions, as well as encouraging intelligent intergenerational conversation.
We will meet the Camp Constitution Director and discuss the reasons that this program was conceived to counter the re-education of our youth in a public education system that uses the soviet model of career training and social justice communalism (that is the antithesis of classical liberal education. We will be joined by educator and home schooling expert, Alex Newman, to explore the nightmare known as Public Education and how efforts like Camp Constitution can resurrect the Founder's vision of a Judeo Christian centered America based on individual rights and constitutional guarantees of liberty for all.

Hal Shurtleff – Co Founder and Director of Camp Constitution was born, raised and lives in Boston MA. Hal is an Army Veteran who served with the 101st Airborne. He is married and the father of 5 children and one grandchild. A homeschool dad, he became the President of the Samuel L. Blumenfeld Literacy Foundation and is an active member of the Sons of The American Revolution. His activism is geared to creating a new respect and understanding of the greatest experiment in liberty devised by man, The United States of America.
Alex Newman – is an international journalist, educator, author, and consultant. In addition to serving as president of the small media and information consulting firm Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc, he has written for a wide array of publications in the United States and abroad.
He currently serves as a foreign correspondent for The New American magazine, a contributor to WND, and more. He has also written for numerous newspapers and magazines such as the Gainesville Sun, Liberty magazine, Crisis magazine, The Diplomat magazine, Swiss News magazine, Sunshine State News, Alachua County Today, and many more.
In addition, he has co-authored two books, including a major expose' of the plot to dumb down American children using government schools, published by WND Books, released last year. Alex also serves as a director for the organization Bear Witness Central, which works to protect and preserve the U.S. Constitution, and on various advisory boards.
