2026 has rapidly become a year of political, socio-economic, strategic and technological reckoning for America and the world. In fact, it may very well map the future of the entire human race. I don't say this lightly. Many of my friends and podcast guests share this same concern with a sense of urgency that is impossible to overstate.
Having grown up in an era where science fiction writers and movies captured the over active minds of bright American children, it was no accident that futurists joined the ranks of Utopian socialists to shape our vision of 21st Century America.
Socialism has always appealed to the intelligentsia, primarily through their control of higher education and a self imposed sense of their own intellectual superiority over us mere mortals. Admittedly, I fell into that trap myself as a youth, devouring sci-fi literature and futurist thinking as a form of scientific gospel with absolute inevitability.
Because of my liberal family background, little did I consider the danger presented by unlimited futurist technologies in the hands of intellectually gifted people wanting the government to control everyone. Everyone but them of course…..since they see themselves as the only ones gifted enough to design the matrix they envision to entrap and control the rest of us.
A perfect example of this flawed personality type is Professor Yuval Noah Harari, an Israeli academic who gained much international notoriety for his book Sapiens and well documented lectures before the IMF on the desirability of transforming humanity into thinking automatons with physical and metal capabilities well beyond anything currently conceivable. Harari is contemptuous of Christian concepts of creation, referring to man as God and busy working with other liberal socialists constructing his vision of a perfect world order operated by elitists as a feudalist technocracy.
In 2026 it becomes crystal clear what “futurism” really meant all along. Because of the written legacies of futurists like Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, E.R. Burroughs, Huxley, Asimov, Kurzweil, Harari, and others; their vision of a utopian future world order mapped out over the past 150 years has finally become reality. We are now living in the world they envisioned and helped to create.

Through control of: media, academia, politicians and international finance, the Fabian Socialists are winning the ideological war over individualists. The world is quietly conforming to the inevitable final chapter of Fabian socialism; an end to all personal choice, individual rights, private property and personal responsibility. A more un-American vision of the future for the human race could not possible exist, and it occurred so gradually over time that few Americans even noticed what was happening until it was too late.
So, how does government sponsored AI and of hundreds of huge, fully integrated, data centers fit into this futurist vision of a socialist technocracy? The key to controlling the Matrix is 24/7/365 surveillance, unlimited access to all personal data, and a way to catalogue and monitor every quantifiable human, biological, and natural resource on the planet. The Great Reset envisioned by Klaus Schwab where we “will own nothing and be happy” is not possible without a level of control that can only exist in totalitarian states. AI has the capacity to fundamentally transform the human race in ways that were inconceivable during the reigns of past tyrants. The global elite secretly embrace a radical culling of the human herd by 93%; “for the good of the planet” and meet Agenda 21/2030 sustainability goals.
The remaining populations will be transhuman; part man, part machine that can be totally controlled through brain/ computer interface and capable of working tirelessly with neither food nor rest. This techno-feudalism will yield a system of total elitist control unmatched in human history
By transforming artificial intelligence, machines and mankind into a totally separate species, a powerful few can own and control every living thing as well as earth and all its resources under a feudalist system not contemplated for centuries, while others see themselves as soon being able to upload their brain into a virtual world that can live forever and make them immortal……GODS created in their own image.
Humans in this brave new world will lose the essence of Godly humanity (their soul) and become little more than AI controlled cyborgs for experimentation and manipulation. This social hierarchy results in a handful of very powerful elites controlling “creation” while most humans become little more than intelligent apes augmented with machine parts and artificial intelligence to enhance their ability to serve the masters.
AI has tremendous potential to serve mankind and to make life better for all of us……..however; it also has the potential to enslave humanity and to end life on earth as we know it when controlled by the wrong people. We must proceed with extreme caution, and never abrogate our responsibility as thoughtful Christian Americans to preserve and defend Godly creation, and to never allow a powerful few to control the many through any means.
