We have been hearing for decades from the mainstream media how certain individuals and groups are promoting crazy conspiracy theories, usually on topics that they themselves studiously avoid having open discussion with discernment.
The John Birch Society has been a key target of “mainstream” media bias, labeled from the beginning as a fringe hate group and promoter of radical conspiracy theories that are both untrue and harmful to American preeminence as a bastion of freedom and objective political discussion.
However, when we stand back and examine the key tenets expressed by the JBS, there is virtually nothing that they have reported or exposed for the past 60+ years that have not been validated in multiple ways by the financial, sociological, technological, academic, and political institutions surrounding us today. All of these modern institutions and their lapdogs in the mainstream media are demanding that we give up personal liberty and submit to greater control of individuals for the greater good, aka collectivism.
American naiveté and belief that “it couldn't happen here” has lulled us into a false sense of confidence that allowed the Marxist/communist forces aligned against us to infiltrate and eventually control the basic institutions that were supposed to protect us from just such attacks by our enemies.
The JBS has been warning since their formation that the UN is a communist organization created by soviet agents to bring America to its knees and promote a technocratic/Marxist global superstate that destroys individual liberty as we know it. They have been extremely accurate with their research and reporting……….its time we awaken to the reality of the actual state of the world and America circa 2020.
This week our distinguished guests will look at the nature of global conspiracies and objectively separate fact from theories. They will expose how the “mainstream” media has been dominated by forces that openly conspire to “fundamentally transform America” into a vision of Marxist utopia with the help of deep state operatives scattered throughout our basic institutions and administrative government. We will discuss ways that we as Americans can restore out liberty and expose those who wish to enslave us.

John F. McManus – joined the staff of The John Birch Society in August 1966, serving originally as a field coordinator for several New England states. In 1968, he was transferred to a position at the Society’s national headquarters.
In 1973, Mr. McManus accepted the appointment by Robert Welch, the Society’s Founder, as the organization’s Director of Public Affairs. In this post, he became the Society’s chief media representative throughout the nation. He has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs.
Mr. McManus was named the president of The John Birch Society in 1991 and served as such until 2015. He also served many years as Publisher of The New American and the JBS Bulletin.
Mr. McManus has written and produced numerous audiovisual programs, including the popular DVD Overview of America, which is a moving tribute about America’s constitutional roots. He has also written several books including “Financial Terrorism” (1993), “Changing Commands: The Betrayal of America’s Military” (1995), “William F. Buckley, Jr.: Pied Piper for the Establishment” (2002), and “The Insiders” (2004), and his most recent– The John Birch Society: Its History Recounted by Someone Who Was There (2018).
He continues his service to the organization as a regular contributor to The New American, and the JBS Bulletin.
Born in 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, he is a graduate of Holy Cross College in Massachusetts. He served on active duty as a lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years. For six years before accepting a staff position with the Society, he was employed as an electronics engineer. The father of four and grandparent of seven, Mr. McManus has been married to his wife Mary Helen since 1957.

When those publications merged in 1985 to become THE NEW AMERICAN, Mr. Jasper continued to serve as a writer and contributing editor until 1990, when he was promoted to the position of Senior Editor.
