Why are jury trials disappearing while citizen grand juries are forgotten?
Jury trials are quietly disappearing from America’s legal system. With the rise of plea bargains, administrative courts, and judge-only rulings, citizens are often denied a trial by a jury of their peers — a cornerstone of common law justice.
Citizen grand juries, once a vital tool of constitutional accountability, haven’t disappeared — they’ve been intentionally sidelined. Though still lawful, these grand juries have been forgotten, bypassed, or suppressed, even as their power to investigate and indict remains critical in times of government overreach.

America’s justice system has been hijacked by corrupt political actors, activist judges, and bureaucrats who no longer serve the people. But the Constitution gave us a remedy—and it doesn’t come from D.C. It comes from you.
In this episode, Rick Willie, Dan Ska, and constitutional expert Brent Allen Winters lay out how citizen grand juries—rooted in Common Law—can restore law and order from the bottom up.
- The Common Law foundation of citizen grand juries and how they empower local citizens to enforce justice
- Why grand juries belong to We the People, not the courts
- How to lawfully organize a common law grand jury in your own county
- The spiritual and moral duty to defend liberty at the local level
- Why reclaiming grand juries is key to exposing corruption and holding officials accountable
- The critical role of townships in reestablishing constitutional order
- SACRIFICE = STRENGTH — and why freedom demands local, personal commitment
If you're ready to move from frustration to action, this is your starting point. Justice is possible—if you're willing to step up and claim it.

…Growing up as a Montana farm kid in the 1950s and 60s, I knew from an early age the meaning of hard work and physical risk. My Dad always said that “what doesn't kill you makes you tougher”; as a way of explaining why I shouldn't whine about hurting myself after doing something I shouldn't have been doing in the first place.
Rural lifestyles are rife with physical risks every day as a way of life, using cause and effect as a more natural way of teaching life lessons that some pampered city kids don't ever seem to learn, or if they do, only much later in life.
Life in general is full of risk, and the old saying that the wildest ponies usually make the best horses is testament that wild oats are most beneficial when sown early and watered sparingly.
Although the mental hardship of growing up with abusive or drug addicted parents can destroy a child's life, growing up in an environment of strong family, hard work, and sacrifice becomes the hallmark of a much stronger and better society.
Those forces attempting to bring about the “fundamental transformation of America from a patriotic, God fearing society of independent men and women knew full well that the best way to weaken our society is to attack the faith based Christian nuclear family and make us morally, socially and physically dependent on government.
They also knew that national perceptions of patriotic duty must be changed. By rewriting our national story, completely false histories like the 1619 project were inserted into academia to demonize America's true national heroes while lionizing Marxist ideas diametrically opposed to the limited, representative government formed under our constitutional framework.
Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the meaning of national sacrifice, and to appreciate the cause and effect of failing to learn from the many lessons of American history. Experiencing Memorial Day in 2025 is in a much different America than the one I thought I grew up in…….or is it?
Basic freedoms and American ideas of civilized society that we thought would never fail are not only failing, but have been fundamentally transformed by elected national leaders that couldn't pass the basic background check to get a low level security clearance.
With constant collusion by the Democon and Republicrat Uniparty swamp creatures, globalism is rapidly replacing American self interest with collectivist ideology that places every basic tenet of constitutional law on hold, and makes individualism a distant memory.
Free speech and private property have been wrongly identified by loony leftists as racism and selfishness as they systematically destroy our children's minds in the Marxist re-education camps called public schools.
Many see President Trump as the salvation of America, but most are forgetting the bedrock premise of American exceptionalism; grass roots locally controlled government populated by a well armed, knowledgeable and involved citizenry willing to sacrifice their time, talents and even their lives in defense of liberty.
Trump might slow the bleeding, but nothing will stop the destruction of America without a committed populace of dedicated patriots willing to sacrifice their time, blood and treasure in defense of the Constitution.
Although there are many who refuse to serve their country in any meaningful way, they should never forget those willing to do so, especially those that paid the ultimate price to guarantee their right to make that choice voluntarily.
Obviously, I believe that most if not all modern military conflicts are orchestrated by a powerful elite group of globalists to enrich themselves at the expense of the many…..in human lives and national treasure.
In his final nationwide speech as President; Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex that controlled American and international affairs for the primary purpose of increasing power and wealth.
This was not political hyperbole. Every war that Americans have shed their blood for the past 127 years have fed the beast called international banking/global finance at the expense of our national sovereignty.
This must never cloud our respect for the countless American patriots to serve our nation in times of war; making the personal sacrifices necessary to defend our perceived national interests. Our gratitude and debt to honor their memories should never wane.
However, its time to come to terms with our national naivety and make the personal sacrifices demanded for responsible citizenship.
The only way to avoid being treated like sheep being led to the slaughter is to quit acting like sheep being led to the slaughter.
It's time to transform from victim to victor.
A willing sacrifice of our time and treasure will return sovereignty to We the People. With strength comes sovereignty and with sovereignty comes liberty.
There is no substitute for strength through sacrifice.
