…Without question, U.S. elected political leadership has been sorely lacking in virtue and common sense for the past 125 years, ignoring the core values and constitutional grounding that made America truly great for our first 125 years.

Was life perfect then?

Certainly not, but Americans still had the freedom to adapt to changing circumstances without being forced to directly confront the annihilation of the entire human race.

In their rush to replace God and devine creation with technology vis-a-vis hubris and man-god tinkering, humanity is facing an uncertain future where there is a better than 50/50 chance that the human race will be forced to deal with its own destruction at the hand of politicians……….within the next decade.

In the past, America was always the bastion of freedom for those living under despotism around the world, but America was transformed from a non-interventionist constitutional republic into a progressive socialist empire beginning with Teddy Roosevelt and since becoming the norm under an almost unbroken succession of socialist presidents.

Meanwhile, Americans lost their virtue and their sense of direction through an endless propaganda and disinformation campaign conducted by Marxist academics and corporate controlled media tycoons.

Although uncontrolled AI and transformative technology represents a real challenge for humanity, the internet and almost unlimited access to thousands of years of science, history and political theory have led to a 21st Century enlightenment that could turn this whole elitist power grab conundrum on its head.

I doubt that there has ever been such an enormous opportunity and enormous threat to humanity coexisting at the same time. It is entirely up to us to exploit this opportunity for the good of the human race while honoring our covenant with God, our creator.

We must shed our fear of unknowable threats and revel in the blessing of being born at this time and place as God's willing servants to protect his earthly and heavenly kingdom. True; we are still very much in the minority, but during the Revolutionary War, fewer than 5% of Americans were willing to take up arms to fight for freedom for the remaining 95% that ultimately reaped the benefits of liberty.

At the Continental Army's lowest point of the Revolutionary War Thomas Paine wrote the following:

“THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated” 

May we be blessed with courage, honor and a sense of dedication as we face the challenges of 2026. Let us ring in the New Year with a renewed faith in God our creator as we live in the only great republic endowed by law with unalienable rights.
