…Our national security agencies now control most public policy projected by our government from a decidedly paranoid and militaristic perspective. Our feckless national elected leaders have become puppets of the giant security state/special interest mess they allowed to germinate and metastasize under a “national security” pretext.
Sadly, this has also changed our view of the world in very unproductive/dangerous ways. The most noteworthy case in point is the fall of the Soviet Union/command economy system in 1991 and America's short sighted failure to form a friendly, lasting and transformative bond with a nation in desperate need of free market guidance.
That failure was intentional, guided mostly by an almost unnatural CIA/NSA fear of the Russian Bear, combined with a mono-polar hubris that guided our elected leaders; wasting any opportunity to make Russia an ally in a multi-polar world.
The war in Ukraine as reported by the corporate media paints Vladimir Putin as genocidal murderer, determined to kill as many innocent Ukrainian civilians as possible in a plan to re-communize the country.
According to many pro- Ukraine pundits, we are to ignore 300 years of Russian history, the past 3+ decades since the fall of the USSR, and the disingenuous role U.S. policies toward NATO expansion for Russian containment may have played in Putin's decision to invade Ukraine.
The saying that you can judge your enemies by their friends can be restated as; you can judge your friends by their friends, if they are trying to slit our throat.
As a matter of fact, when looking at heroes and villains given the track records of corporate media and our “selected” political leaders, it appears that traditional roles of hero and villain may have been reversed.
And, since the fall of the USSR in 1991, the many pledges of NATO non -expansion by U.S. Presidents, diplomats and State Department officials are about as reliable as summer rains in the Sahara Desert.
In 1991, Post-Soviet leader Boris Yeltsin was given assurances by then US President George HW Bush and State Department Officials that there would be no NATO expansion into former Soviet or Warsaw Pact territories, which seems to fly in the face of non-stop attempts at NATO expansion, almost from day one.
I have done much research into the causes of the Russia Ukraine conflict, and everywhere I look, I see the fingerprints of the CIA, D.O.D./DARPA, World Bank Planners, and the U.S./European Military Industrial Complex. Even pro-Ukraine pundits admit to massive U.S./U.K. interference in Russia-Ukraine internal affairs; from CIA rigged elections, to money laundering, human trafficking, U.S. bio weapons labs, stolen Russian natural gas, & Soros funded coups against pro-Russian elected political leaders.
Add to that the numerous attacks and murders carried out against civilians in the highly industrial and pro-Russian Eastern Ukraine Provinces and the Crimea by Neo-Nazi Ukrainian Military groups, and Putin starts to appear as the only rational leader in the region. At least he is trying to protect the Eastern Province and Crimean Russian majority.
If there is a valuable lesson to be learned from decades of political manipulation and propaganda, it is to always “follow the money” when looking for motive. According to all accounts, Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, stealing nearly a third of all the natural gas being pipelined across the country by Russia.
Nordstream I & II were pipelines installed on the floor the North Sea to end the outrageous amount of natural gas being siphoned off by Ukraine and resold on the black market.
The United States has been intentionally pulling the Bear's tail by corrupting and manipulating the political process in Ukraine and in other former territories of the Russians through multiple “Color Revolutions” intended to destabilize a resurgent Russian republic and end the Putin Presidency.
And what about a reported 30 U.S. sponsored bio-weapons labs doing research on Russia DNA in Ukrainian territory that has never been legally annexed away from the Russian Federation? Was DARPA funding an entire bio-weapons industry in Ukraine that's illegal under international treaty?
Was the Biden crime family and some members of Congress inexorably linked to shady financial deals in Ukraine that are about to be exposed to the world? What about Hunter Biden's highly paid corporate position with Burisma Holdings, and Joe Biden's video bragging about his role in firing the Ukrainian Prosecutor?
When will this be too big a story for the Corporate Media to sell as Russian disinformation? The saying goes that a fish rots from the head down. Something stinks like it's rotting from the head down in Ukraine and it smells a lot more like: Bush 1 & 2, Clinton, Obama, Biden, the CIA and DARPA than Putin.
I know that there are many patriotic people around the world that want to believe that poor little Ukraine is fighting for its life against a big bad Russian Bear called Vladimir Putin. If that were really the whole story, I would likely support Ukraine.
This tragic episode of world history is, like so many other tragic episodes, a chronology of political mis-steps and misdeeds by corrupt politicians that like nothing better than innocents paying the price for their corrupt acts. Our “Great Leaders” in the DC District of Criminals have been working feverishly to cover up numerous financial shenanigans and CIA/DARPA funded clandestine bio-weapons labs in a key territory of the former Soviet Union.
Before we take a position in a proxy war that could blow up in our faces, wouldn't it be wise to look at all the facts before making such a momentous decision?
I suffer no delusions that Vladimir Putin is the “second coming”, but I also see him as a patriotic Russian leader with a strong sense of personal responsibility to protect the Russian people. Putin is certainly no fool…….unlike many current and past American elected “leaders”.
During one of my 2016 radio programs; Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Undersecretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration, and the architect of Reaganomics, broke a story of US funded, gene specific, bio-weapons being developed by the CIA and DARPA in clandestine Ukrainian labs; meant to target the 100+ ethnic groups making up the Russian population.
Roberts warned that this move could lead to WW3 if not stopped immediately. Can we really blame Putin for invading Ukraine and taking out military targets threatening the Russian people. Most of us would do the same if that threat was coming from Mexico or California.
