Why have Americans failed to see the enemy within and have openly accepted Marxist and socialist programs that undermine freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Why are we so accepting of ideas that are idiotic on their face and are obviously leading to the destruction of traditional society and social norms that were created from the practical experiences of many generations of civilized society? Why do we continue to ignore the lessons of history that gave us a level of freedom and social/economic achievement unlike anything the world has ever seen? Is human nature really that pathetically corrupt and irresponsible that we seek to be ruled and controlled by others……..often leading society to enslavement, death, and destruction?
On previous radio programs we have shown that Karl Marx and virtually all communist leaders have nothing but contempt for the ability of mankind to rule themselves and see humanity as little more than sheep to be fleeced and slaughtered at the behest of their leaders. Communism and socialism has proven over and over that they are a recipies for disaster, like a snake eating it's own tail, or a cancer that will ultimately destroy it's host. With all that historical precedent and no long term examples that collectivism has or will ever work, why do parents allow their children to be indoctrinated into collectivist thinking by Cultural Ma that have captured public education at all levels?
America was founded on the principles of life, liberty and property where personal responsibility and freedom of thought and association were guaranteed by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We were to be free to pursue our dreams and live a life free of control by others as long as our actions did not infringe on the rights of others and their ability to pursue happiness. Why are we so willing to let these canons of freedom be destroyed?

Michael Rectenwald—the notorious @antipcnyuprof—is the author of nine books: Springtime for Snowflakes, Google Archipelago (Aug. 2019), Nineteenth-Century British Secularism, and others. He was a Professor at NYU from 2008 to 2019. He is a pundit and champion of free speech against all forms of authoritarianism and totalitarianism, including socialism-communism, “social justice,” fascism, and PC.
